SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
To us, safety isn't just about following rules. It’s the most important part of our job.
Whether we're working on roofs, walls, glazing or erecting a steel building, we take every precaution to protect our people and your property. By bringing together the best safety practices from all our teams - Atlantic Roofers, Northshore Roofing, Atlantic MetaClad, and Hampton Building Systems - we’ve created a safety approach we truly believe in. Our goal is simple: we want every member of our crew to return home safely to their families every single day, and we want to make sure your building is always in good hands.
SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Our safety rules are clear: we don’t start any work until we’ve carefully checked for risks and have a plan to keep everyone safe.
◘ Job Hazard & Field Level Risk Assessments
Before site mobilization, our project teams complete a comprehensive Site-Specific Safety Plan (SSSP). Once in the field, our crews execute daily Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRA). These mandatory huddles force a hands-on evaluation of real-time job site variables, including working at heights, changing weather, wind factors, hoisting, and traffic paths.
◘ Zero-Disruption Operational Safety
We specialize in working in busy, occupied environments like hospitals, schools, and 24/7 plants, so we design our work to protect your daily operations. If needed, we minimize disruptions by coordinating heavy lifts or overhead work with your schedule. On-site, our crews use sturdy, custom-built barriers to keep your workspace clean and secure. Additionally, for any open-flame roofing applications, we enforce a mandatory, multi-hour post-work fire watch protocol to absolutely secure your physical assets.
